Candy Corn Ice Cream

Fall’s wax set of teeth, a.k.a. Candy Corn. Either you love it or hate it, but starting after Labor Day weekend you can find this national flag look-a-like triangle everywhere. I like candy corn and the film it leaves on your grill. Once broken through the capsule of wax it ends up with this marshmallow-y, honey-esk flavor that I find warm in the belly. I thought it would be a good pairing with plain vanilla ice cream and low and behold it tasted mighty fine. I ended up adding some smashed up honey graham crackers to add a little texture. The candy corn was hard after freezing but similar to bubble gum ice cream, kinda hard but in a wussy way.
